I may just be the stupidest person alive.
No, no, I will brook no argument on this one! I got my birth certificate in the mail, trotted over to the passport office, got there right before closing with my "cut to the front of the line" card, stood there for about ten minutes, then realized...wait for it, wait for it...

I left my checkbook on my desk!!!!

Is that not unbelievably stupid? And now I have to go back again tomorrow morning at 7.30 when they open! And I leave Saturday!!

No more mistakes, I hope...

So, in order to make myself feel better after that whole passport debacle, I went to Bloomies and got a three pack of Jockey For Her and a Jockey undershirt, and then to the Body Shop to get the Rice Bran Scrub and the Henna Hair Wax that I cannot live without, and also a purple wash cloth, Vitamin E soap, Lavender Foaming Milk Bath, and Light Conditioner, so I'm ALL SET!!!

O, and I also went to Cinnebon, and if you don't know that store, then I feel very sorry for you, because they sell the best cinnamon rolls in the whole world and they're as big as your head and absolutely melt in your mouth, and when I was getting one I noticed a basket with little cups filled with white stuff, and I said "Um, is that extra frosting?" and it was, so my life is now complete!

'Cept for the passport...

Totally forgot to say that on Wednesday I won Jackie's contest again! Yay for me! She did Scott's journal, Words. And yesterday, she did ME!!! You must go see it, 'cause it's a great takeoff--she adapted my jokes really well. And best of all, Melody won!

And speaking of Jackie, if you're a journal-keeper and you still have a link to her Great Journal Poll, it's over for Chrissakes! Has been for months!
