Yesterday was the oddest day.
I got into work and went into my office and there were two different people in Michelle and Judy's seats! I looked around, thinking that perhaps I was in the wrong building or I was in some alternate universe or something, but I calmed down (I'm an hysteric, don't you know) and got to work.
Later in the day, Floyd comes in and he's installing another person in there, and I stomp out muttering "Get all these people out of my room!", came back ten minutes later and the room was empty!
I had no idea I was so powerful! When I leave my house tomorrow, I'll say "Get all this mess out of my apartment!" and see what happens!
The other weird thing was the weather.
It was different every twenty minutes, veering wildly between sunny and beautiful and gigantic thunderstorms, and all of the electricity in the air made everybody a little jumpy. Also, we tried to do a check run, but every time Diane pressed the button on her computer to make them print out, the fuse blew!
I don't know if it was the thunderstorms or what, but we just couldn't print a check all day.
My boss at the Company That Must Not Be Named got the most hideous haircut. He's way cute, and had the most wonderful hair, but he chopped it all off, and now his nose looks enormous and it's all very disappointing.
Not wildly interesting to y'all, but it's a slow news day.
Jackie's having this contest where she designs every day's entry like other on-line diarists. It's sort of an insider's game, because no-one's as interested in us than we ourselves are, but the point is that yesterday she did it in the style of Lucy, and I WON!!!!
