(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

10 March

Boy o boy, I'm I glad to be back online!
I finally figured out what was wrong with my modem--I needed to get a new access number because my 33.6/28.8 modem can't connect on the 14.4 number!

Duhhh!

Didn't matter a damn, however, because my phone absolutely refused to work and I couldn't get it fixed until this morning. And it was SO HARD being in my apartment with my computer just SITTING there and NO Internet access! So I cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen and hung up all my clean clothes from the last two laundries, which REALLY NEEDED to be done, so I guess it all worked out anyway.

I bought a pot of purple crocuses (croci?) at the Union Square market on Saturday.
(I know they are purple even though they're not blooming because there was a little sign next to the pot and it said "purple". No flies on me!)

I gotta admit, though, that I am horrible with plants and kill them as soon as look at them, and Them Bad Kitties feel very very strongly that if it's green and it's growing, then it's salad, but I really have high hopes for this little plant.

Aw, who am I kidding? If that plant lives to show one purple crocus, I'll eat it. Unless crocuses (croci?) are poisonous. Then I won't.

Coda: Update on the crocus.

I wrote the above immediately after buying said crocus, and I must say that I was entirely wrong! That crocus is growing like a sonofabitch! The second, and I mean the second I brought it into the house it started blooming like crazy! Every single time I go into the kitchen, I can see a difference.

For people who get bored waiting for plants to bloom, I highly recommend crocuses (croci?)--they are instant gratification plants.

Why is it that whenever I order a bologna hero with mustard, they always ask, "What kind of cheese?" Where in the words "bologna", "hero", "with", "mustard", and "please" is the word "cheese"?

I can't find it, me.
