Diet update: I lost three pounds this week, which makes seven altogether.

So, I finally called Wonder Boy.

You see, on The Night I Was Swept Off Of My Feet Without the Sweep-er Even Vaguely Knowing That I Was the Sweep-ee, he told me that he had accidentally left his shoes at the theatre, and I offered to pick them up for him as he doesn't live in town.

So I picked them up when I saw the show at the theatre on Friday, (and no I didn't sleep with them under my pillow!) and then I rang him yesterday when I was at work and left a message on his machine. I was really smooth, too.

"Um, this is, um, Kymm, um, Zuckert, from, um, Junction City, um, and, um, I have your, um, shoes. Um."

For some reason, he didn't leap to the phone as soon as he heard that piece of shit, though as Melody said:

"Well I doubt it's because he's so horrified by you that he's decided he doesn't want his shoes."

When I saw said show on Friday, I ran into Linda, who directed Bumblebee Hamlet, a show I had taken pictures of recently. She mentioned that she had sold some pictures for me, which I thought was cool, so I asked what the frame numbers were, and she said "No, I sold all of the pictures that you gave me!"

It seemed that I gave her all of my crappy test prints and decent extra copies and gathered cash! Unexpected and accidental, but saves me extra work, so I'm all for it!

So on Friday Linda was talking about Billy Joel's Turnstiles, a truly great album. I last heard it simply ages ago, as I only have it on vinyl and no working turntable, so I went out after work to get it!

Sam Goody's didn't have it in stock, so instead I got 52nd Street and The Stranger, not to mention the new Sarah McLauchlan and James Taylor albums.

I'm so suggestible...
