(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

21 July

Still no inet-images. Sigh...
Good news, though, I've lost 4 pounds in my first diet week!

So the show opened last night.
It was a small house, but I brought it down, baby! O yes I did.
Of course, like I said, the costume and makeup do most of the work. I'm wearing almost exactly what I wore for Pirandello, fishnets and high heels and lace skirt and everything, but the makeup and feathers are something else indeed.

I have red feathers in my hair and a big fluffy red feather boa, and I have my eyes with dark pink all over them from temple to temple and blue and black liquid eyeliner, and the brightest red lipstick in the world. But the neat thing is that I put on my makeup so early that I sweat it halfway down my face and put on more, then sweat it off again and put on more, so that by the time I go onstage I look really scary.

And the lipstick...I was looking in the mirror at the tech and my lips were so beautifully done and they just looked perfect and it wasn't right, so I put some on my teeth, but that wasn't enough, so I smeared it with the back of my hand, like I had just been kissed or maybe hit, and then it was right.

I am a moron.

I know I'm always talking about how smart I am and how everyone around me is a big ol' idiot, but last night was proof positive that I am flat out as stupid as it is possible to be.

I got on the N train, remembered that it wasn't gonna take me home but would terminate at Canal St. and I'd have to take the 4 and it would be a tremendous pain (I realize that they have to do track work, but must it inconvenience me?), so I decided to change for the D at 34th St., which is the express and I'd get home much faster. So I got out at 34th St., went to the other platform, waited for 15 long hot minutes, and then the train finally arrived.

And it was the N!

I wasn't on a different platform, I was on the same platform and I had been waiting for 15 minutes for the same train that I just go off of!
The train that would not take me home!

I'm as dumb as a bag of hair.

Did you all see Lucy's Mystery Celebrity?
Well, you can all stop guessing, because I guessed right! As I told Lucy, I saw an interview with The Mystery Celebrity about five years ago, and though I didn't remember what he looked like, I remembered that he was completely unrecognizable, so when I saw that picture I thought "Well, it doesn't look a thing like that guy...so it's probably him!"
