11 August
So we teched the show yesterday, and it was kind of messy, but not too bad.
So I designed the lights for the entire evening. Ain't I lucky?
My journal's up for critique soon in the Theatre of Blood. Not really soon, but soon enough. I expect to hear comments on the busyness of my pages (which is funny, because I like the stark pages the best--maybe next redesign I'll go all angular and table-y), and I know some people hate centered text as much as I hate all lower-case text, but the one I'm really wondering how many people will say is: "You always talk about what you think and never about what you feel!" I hope nobody really hates it, but if everyone really loves it will I feel as though I've really been critiqued? Of course, I'll take the latter over the former any day. I'll tell you, though, if anyone says "She thinks she's so funny but she's really not", I'm taking hostages.
I swear, my hair is driving me to distraction.
Sigh...I hate growing out my hair in the summer. It's all over my neck, and it's too short for a ponytail so I wear it in bunches (aka pigtails), which is fairly cute and all, but I'd like some sort of hairstyle variety. I wish I could just shave my head.
I saw a tribute to Jimmy Stewart on TV the other week, and there was a news clip from the premiere of one of his films that touted "The miracle of stereophonic sound!" Isn't that cute?
