As of yesterday I have a full cast for my show! That opens in nine days! Of course, they weren't all at rehearsal, but at least they all exist...

I was sleeping like a baby the other night, dreaming sweet things, and I moved my foot...into a wet spot.

And I SPRANG out of that bed like I had been shot out of a gun! From sound sleep to standing all the way across the room in .002 of a second. Turns out some bad kitty (I have no proof, so I will not be mentioning any names, but I have a pretty good idea) decided that he loved me soooooo much that he couldn't bear to be away from me for the ten seconds that it would take him to go to the cat box and pee, so he just decided to let fly right where he was.

One can indeed have too much love.

There is this completely hilarious campaign commercial currently running on NY radio. In it our esteemed mayor, Rudy Giuliani, natters on at great length about all of the wonderful things he's done for schools and shares the credit with the school chancellor, Rudy Crew.

I don't think I've heard anything quite so amusing in years!

Now, ol' Rudy has his good points, to be certain, but being Supportive of Education ain't one of them! And he is famed for being a credit-grabber of the highest order (like when he got rid of the police commissioner after it was bandied about that perhaps said commissioner deserved some of the credit for the crime rate going down), so this "I love kids and schools and teachers and give some props to Rudy Crew!" dancing monkey act (while juggling flaming clubs and playing Lady of Spain on a mouth harp) is just too much.

You're gonna be re-elected, Rudy, you needn't tell quite so many blatant lies.

Jaysus! Did you see Sylvester Stallone on Leno the other night? How much facial surgery has he had? He not only looks about 15, he doesn't look a damn thing like Sylvester Stallone anymore.
