I cut work yesterday due to, um...well, cramps, actually.

Spent the day downing Aleve and re-filling my hot water bottle and watching McMillan and Wife and futzing around on the web. Nice to spend a day doing absolutely nothing, even though I had to be in pain to do it.

I watched the Bee Gees on Leno last night, and I was stunned to enjoy hearing Stayin' Alive! I HATED that song when it first came out--with a passion I hated it. I guess now that I don't hear it every ten minutes, it's sort of a treat; kind of a glimpse of my childhood.

Once, however, was quite enough.

The results for The Great Journal Poll are in! And I was gratified to be mentioned in the "Journals that have made you cry" section. That really pleased me. If you want to see the results, go here.

In class on Saturday, the teacher was looking at what I had done, and she said "You know, you really are very good at this! You missed those two classes, and I thought that you would be behind, but you really are very quick at this, and I'm very impressed!" And I said "Well, you know, this is an easy negative, as it's mostly one colour, and I've done so much black and white printing..." And she said "Stop that! Just take the compliment!"

So, I did.
