I got THREE (count 'em three) awards from the same guy! The Matt Petty Seal of Approval, The Electric Orgasm Award, AND The Shitty Web Site Award!!

That brings the grand total up to 61!!!!!

I got home tonight to the sight of a movie shooting across the street. What a pain. Bright lights pointing right in my windows, and lots of people standing around with a perfect view, so no walking around in my underwear.

Of course, the most annoying thing is the fact that I'm not working on this film. It sure would be convenient.

I saw "Bags" tonight over to LCP with a whole audience full of non-theatre goers.

There is certainly nothing wrong with non-theatre goers, away from the theatre, that is; within the theatre they are a big bunch of pains. They whooped when their friend came onstage, laughed when his character died of a heart attack, one of them wandered onto the stage before the show, TWO of them sitting in the front row got up during the first act to go to the bathroom, and several had to be physically restrained from taking photographs during the performance. They appeared to believe not that they were at a performance of a professional Off-Off Broadway play, but were instead at some sort of grade school talent show. When it ended, Carol Henning turned to me and said "This audience is stupider than dirt".

I said "You took the words right out of my mouth..."

I was in the darkroom today, and I blew up the Paris Then shots and a couple from my Holga test roll, which turned out pretty neat. The best shot was a shot of Peter that I had him model for me. I wanted to shoot Peter in his Paris Then costume, as he looks very 20's and the costume is very good, with a straw boater and part of his face in darkness. I had a really clear idea in my head of what I wanted, but I ended up without enough light (by my own error), so it didn't turn out like I had planned. However, I decided to try to print it with a very thick filter to try and up the contrast, and I was in a hurry, so I didn't clean the negative, and it turned out very grainy and messy and light and it looks like it is a vintage negative actually shot in the 20's.

Sometimes mistakes are to be appreciated.
