One of the things I do is read manuscripts for a literary agent, and I got three books in yesterday that I needs must read, summarize and comment on as fast as can be. I finished the first one, which was, shock of shocks, kinda good. One of the two remaining is 538 pages long, however, and I don't hold out much hope for that one.

There was an error on Jeopardy today! I was so thrilled to find it! The answer was:
"She was the author of the short story 'The Lottery', and was the subject of the biography 'Raising Demons'", and the question was, of course Shirley Jackson. So where was the mistake? 'Raising Demons' was not a biography, it was an autobiography. And I know because it's one of my favourite books. Anyone out there who really loves funny non-fiction family stories should look up it and it's sequel.

So nyah nyah nyah to Jeopardy!
