(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

10 September

The other day I was rehearsing for Paris Then, and I realized that I had arrived in New York just about exactly 14 years ago (somewhere in the first two weeks of September anyway), and one of the first places I went when I arrived in town was to dance class which took place in the very room that we were rehearsing in.

In other words, I haven't moved an inch in fourteen years.

Hey, guess what, darlings! I'm the Onesite of the Week of 9-15 September 1996!

I just saw the trailer for "Fly Away Home" and I wept.
Sigh...

It's about GEESE for heaven's sake! What is WRONG with me?!

I'm baking brownies right this second. Not so much because I want brownies, but rather because I want to see if it can actually hit 10,000,000 degrees in this apartment.

A letter in this week's People Magazine:
"You show a step-by-step series of photographs of the American Version of the Macarena that is just plain wrong. Some of the steps are out of order, and others are missing altogether. If you like, you can send a photographer to my house, and I'll volunteer to show your readers the dance. Granted, I won't look as good in a tank top and miniskirt since I'm a 210 pound man. But at least I know how to macarena."
