30 November I had to work yesterday. The hideousness that is my life knows no bounds. It was like a ghost town, too, except that my boss, Indra, was there, so I actually pretty much had to work until she left at 4p. And I was doing the demographics, which is so boring and dreadful that they should use it to make terrorists confess. "Alright, alright, I admit it! I blew up the World Trade Centre! PLEASE don't make me do any more demographics!!!"
I forgot to say that it snowed on Thanksgiving. The last time it snowed on Thanksgiving was about seven or eight years ago, and I remember Kevin saying that that meant good luck for the year. I remember specifically that that was NOT TRUE that year, but maybe it will be this time.
Dave, my boss boss, had to drive in from New Jersey for five minutes to sign eight cheques that he was supposed to sign and send off on Wednesday. That's karma, baby.
One decent thing about coming to work on a holiday, getting a seat on the train yesterday morning was cake.
