I got to work yesterday, and found that everyone in my room is moving in with the other Billing people in the back, so there'll be TEN of us in one room with no window and facing the wall with our computer screens facing out so everyone can see what I'm working on (i.e. this page, usually).

I have GOT to get a new job...

Went back to work for the first day after vacation, and I was wearing my new brown gingham dress that I got for Xmas and my new shoes and my cute new haircut and everyone was making a fuss over how good I looked and my boss Indra said "However, the socks aren't working at all", and I looked down and saw that I had all unknowingly put on bright turquoise blue socks.

I guess it was my subconscious asserting itself; I may be looking good, but I'm still me!

I went to McDonald's yesterday for my regular breakfast, and when I walked in the door, the girl told me that the biscuits wouldn't be ready for seventeen minutes, and I said that I couldn't wait and had to get to work, so I'd just have the hash brown patties, and then the manager told me that my WHOLE breakfast would be free today to make up for it!

They take care of their regulars, McDonald's does.

I got into work EXACTLY on time yesterday, and I ran looking for Indra to show her that it was indeed in the realm of possibility for me to come in at 8.30, but she WASN'T THERE!
