Today I met John after work to trade birthday presents. He gave me a copy of The Eyes of Laura Mars, 'cause, besides Randy, Tommy Lee's my biggest darling.

A couple more things from when my folks were here: Mom and I were wandering through the Museum of Modern Art, separate but in the same gallery. When we met up at the end, she said "Did you see the painting with the big penis and the sperm and the egg?"

There must be something wrong with my technique of looking at paintings.

My Mom told me a story about when she and my Da were first married. They went to a movie on 42nd St., and after it was over they were gonna go home, but they saw what was playing next door, and my Da said "Hey, that one looks good", so they saw that one, too. And another one, and another one, and they spent all night going to movie after movie.

Isn't that the sweetest story? I can't imagine them doing that now.

Have you seen the ads for that new movie Bogus?

I figure, I've seen Baby Boom and I've seen Drop Dead Fred, so...Been there, done that.
