One of my favourite recent ad-libs was on Wheel of Fortune.

The game was "Advertising Slogan", and the answer was Double Your Pleasure, Double Your Fun, and the contestant had to guess the product to get $500. She guessed Wrigley's Spearmint Gum, and Pat said "No, that'd be Spear Your Pleasure, Spear Your Fun!"

I love the way Columbo is always being astonished by what were, at the time, new inventions. In Monday's episode, everyone was talking about an amazing new kind of watch that "prints the time in red numbers".

Ahhh...the 70's.

Personally, I think that Tony Danza's nightclub act should be used to make terrorists confess.
